1.    How do teachers respond to issues relating to separation from mom?
Each child and parent dynamic is different. We have an orientation program which helps tremendously to ease you and your child into the process. Our teachers understand individual differences and respond accordingly.

2.    What if my child isn’t toilet trained?
We feel that this can be a stressful time. To elevate this stress we have tried to meet a compromise with our parents. If your child wets themselves we will put on a new pull up. If they soil themselves we will call you to have you change them. This takes any undue stress off parents in the last weeks of August to have their children potty trained.

3.    How are students disciplined?
They are not scolded but disciplined in a loving & encouraging manner. 

4.    What is the right age to start Preschool?
Our programs start at 2.6 years of age.  These early social situations are an excellent experience for young children.  Each child handles the transition in their own unique way in some cases both mother and child are not ready at this age and we wait 6 months.

5.    How can I tell if the quality of teaching is high?
When you visit a site be sure to ask if the teachers are certified. State requirements are such that 1 state certified teacher is required in each room. If both are certified then this is a quality establishment.

6.    What type of learner is my child?
Auditory learners learn by listening and discussing. Visual learners are stimulated by a visually appealing environment. Tactile learners enjoy working with their hands. Multi sensorial based curriculum ensures all learners are challenged.

7. Do all classrooms have developmentally advanced activities and how often are they changed?
All classrooms are focused on age appropriate activities which are continuously switched to create interest and curiosity. Our small class size and individual attention allows us to work one on one with children that show either an extra need or advanced knowledge.  This keeps each child challenged at an appropriate level and builds confidence and self esteem. 

8. Why is preschool so important?
Decades of research show that preschool builds a foundation for success in school and in life. Ninety percent of brain growth occurs before most children enter kindergarten. We take advantage of this period of rapid development to lay a strong educational and social foundation for school and beyond. 

9. Are the children under adult supervision at all times?
It is a requirement of the licensing bureau in the State of New Jersey that "No Child" is left unattended for any period of time. You can feel assured that your childʼs safety is our primary concern.

10. How do I know if this school is right for my child?
You need to spend some time observing the class your child will attend and ask yourself

Are the children happy?

Is there interaction with the teacher?

Can you see your child learning in this environment?

As a mom we use our instincts to judge safe and unsafe situations. You will know in 15 minutes if we are right for you.

To apply for admission you will need to:

• Schedule an appointment and tour the facility
• Submit an application for admission along with a non-refundable application fee
• Be prepared to meet all New Jersey State health requirements
